1,745 acres wildflower preserve from mid-March through mid-May. Eight miles of trails, visitor center. Spring time when poppies are in bloom there are wildflowers creating patches of color throughout the reserve. Goldfields cover parts of the South Poppy Loop with splotches of yellow, and the owl's clover has recently started popping up among them near the spring (now dry) on the North Poppy Loop.
