It is a white sand beach with crystal clear water . It's also very close to the Waikoloa resorts. This is a strong competitor for the title of “best white sand beach” on the island. Access is via a paved road from the highway to the parking area, then a short walk down the rocks to the beach. There is also a desert looking cinder cone called Pu'u Ku'ili adjacent to the beach.
